Job Description

  • Coordinate transportation operations with external trucking and container transportation contractors, selecting the most suitable transportation solutions based on actual circumstances.
  • Monitor shipment and delivery status and handle any issues arising with contractors.
  • Work directly with customers to understand their requirements, provide updates on delivery progress, and resolve related issues.
  • Coordinate with the customs clearance department to:
    • Process ePort and eWMS submissions.
    • Update delivery status, driver information, and supporting document images on the company’s software system.
  • Monitor compliance with delivery procedures, ensuring that documents, data, and images are stored completely and accurately.
  • Track progress and prepare periodic reports for management on transportation status, costs, performance, and any arising issues.
  • Manage and train the dispatch/coordinator team (if applicable), assign tasks effectively, and ensure operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • College or university degree or higher, preferably in Logistics, Import-Export, Transportation Economics, or related fields.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in transportation coordination, preferably within a logistics company or freight forwarder.
  • Knowledge or experience in field operations (OPS) or customs clearance operations is an advantage.
  • Strong experience working with transportation contractors, handling operational issues, and communicating with customers.
  • Good management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using transportation management software, ePort, and eWMS systems is a plus.
  • Proactive, able to work under high pressure, and willing to work overtime when urgent deliveries are required.
